Owner of the Year - The Triple Ross Stable The Milton, Ontario, stable was recognized as the owner who best supported the Flamboro Downs entry box with 172 starts in 2007. Trainer of the Year - John Janes Edging out last year’s title holder, Phil Coleman, Janes trained 66 Flamboro Downs’ winners in 2007. Driver of the Year - Paul MacKenzie Flamboro Downs’ all-time leading driver, MacKenzie, was in the Winner’s Circle 293 times in 2007. A fixture at Flamboro for nearly three decades, the Charlottetown, PEI, native was also presented with a special, engraved “milestone watch” in recognition of his 6,000th Career Driving Win on February 29th of this year.
