Fabulous Flamboro Downs

From the starting gate to the finish line, flamboro downs presents a unique and entertaining outing for individuals and groups alike. Parking and admission is always FREE. Set on 220 acres on Highway #5 west, between highways 6 and 8, flamboro downs has grown substantially since its April 1975 opening. For our annual Race Calendar click here.

Live evening racing and dining is available. The Pavilion Trackside is just a few short steps from both the racetrack and over 800 slot machines. Group packages are available for any type of function including company parties, fundraisers, birthday and anniversary parties, social events and more. Plan and Play in the Confederation Room Conference Suite for state of the art business meetings, group and social functions.

In addition to live harness racing, both thoroughbred and standardbred racing from tracks around the world are simulcast daily at The Inside Track, starting at noon where wagers can be placed both live and simulcast races. flamboro downs’ Hot Express is open from 12 noon during live racing, and the Pavilion Food Court is open from 8 A.M. until midnight seven days a week. With trotters and pacers decked out in their identifying colours, fans can enjoy the show outdoors or from flamboro downs’ climate controlled grandstand.

An off-track betting network offers racing from teletheatres in Hamilton, Burlington and Stoney Creek.
